I have a 14 year old daughter who has type 1 diabetes. She has come to me very confused and upset. She knows that she has to check her blood and administer insulin (through a pump) but sometimes she may go for days without checking her levels, most of the time she will inject to eat her main meals. She says she is the worst diabetic every but I'm sure there are many teenagers out there who are in similar situations. Is there any guidance you could give me.
